Barnes Street
ASA  Listed Building 2006 A competition–winning sustainable housing scheme designed around a courtyard which includes a super-insulated timber frame. Flats are designed future conversion internally; there are no structural partitions within individual flats so that the floor plan can be reconfigured and convertible attic space. The project has an energy efficient heating system and layout oriented to maximise solar gain and sustainable materials used for finishes
