Queens Building, Chemsford

INTROSPECT

Curious Group recently completed the new entrance and reception area in the Queen’s Building Library in Chelmsford for the Anglia Ruskin University. Their brief was to revitalise the learning environment, providing a better staff/student interface and a user-friendly social space. Curious used yellow as a signature colour as well as vibrant lighting and bespoke furniture and graphics designed by its interiors and architecture division. The previous single door entrance was redesigned to be a more open and welcoming space and to draw students and staff alike into the library. Photography by Ross McNally.
