New bar for One Piccadilly Gardens

Manchester practice Stephenson Bell has designed a new KRO Bar within the Allies and Morrison building at One Piccadilly Gardens. The site overlooks Piccadilly Gardens, where the proposed bar area with low-level lounge seating will be situated. A more formal restaurant area with timber panelled banquette seating and high-level limestone tables will overlook Portland Street.

There are already several KRO Bars, which are designed to have the atmosphere of Danish village pubs, throughout Manchester. The first opened close to the university in 1999.
