New projects for AEW

Manchester based AEW architects has been granted planning permission for a new apartment building on Liverpool Road in the Castlefield conservation area of Manchester city centre. The scheme is for 16 luxury apartments, some of which will occupy a listed Georgian townhouse adjacent to the site. Completion is expected by Autumn 2005.
AEW is also awaiting planning approval for a 6 storey residential block on Blackfriars Road in Salford. The multi-use development includes offices and retail units and will sit on a prominent corner of the street between two listed buildings.
