The First Group has confirmed plans to build a new headquarters in Aberdeen, on the site of its present one.

The King Street bus depot in Aberdeen held off competition from several other cities for the £10 million development.

First Group's chief executive, Moir Lockhead, said: "Today's announcement is all about celebrating the news that Britain's biggest transport operator will continue to be located in the Granite City."
