NHS Lothian is to sell off thirteen properties around Edinburgh, and channel the profits back into patient care.

The buildings- worth between £160,000 and £2million- are to go on the market this week through DTZ Residential, and include a Victorian mansion house, a converted villa and a lodge cottage.

DTZ's associate director, Graeme McCallum, said that the sales offered "a great opportunity" for buyers looking to convert such interesting properties.
