Alliance Trust has been given a £1.95 million grant from the Scottish Executive to build new headquarters in Dundee, creating 160 jobs over the next three years.
The company is to build the six-storey headquarters at the former site of Burns and Harris printworks, and is due to purchase the land from Dundee City Council.
Construction is to go ahead this summer with completion expected by the end of 2008.
