Scottish Borders Council announces £15 million housing project

Scottish Borders Council, in a partnership with Eildon and Margaret Blackwood Housing Associations, has announced plans for a £15 million project to build affordable homes in Peebles.The final decision on the plan is expected by the 13th March and, if approved, will result in 138 new homes being built in the town.
Council Finance spokesman Neil Calvert said the project “represents fantastic value for the Borders and is great news for Peebles.”
