Council delegation tours Antonine shopping centre
20 Mar 2007
A delegation of North Lanarkshire councillors toured the soon-to-be-completed Antonine Shopping Centre in Cumbernauld this week, ahead of its completion in May.
Deputy Council Leader Jim Smith and Chief Executive Gavin Whitefield were amongst those shown around the £40 million retail outlet by the newly-appointed centre manager, Karen Johnston.
Councillor Smith said: "This centre will bring new jobs, new opportunities, new investment and new life into Cumbernauld."
