The 5th World Congress on Design and Health will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow from 27 June-1 July 2007. The biennial event normally swaps venues between North America and Europe, but it is staying in Europe this year due to the large amount of healthcare design taking place in the UK at present. The conference and exhibition seeks to bring together academic researchers and practicing designers from around the world to exchange ideas on healthcare issues. As well as participating in the conference, delegates will be able to attend social events and study trips, and all will receive two books, a 90-page review of current healthcare issues in the UK, and after the event a collection of articles by the contributors on the subjects they presented.
The final programme will be available in the middle of May, but preliminary details of the event and registration information are available on www.designandhealth.com.
