Work begins on g1 George Square redevelopment

The A-listed Victorian building - rebranded g1 George Square – is to be redeveloped into high quality office space in a joint development by HF Developments and AWG Property Ltd.
Bill Ritchie, Whitbybird’s project director, said: “This is a vitally important site in the continued regeneration and development of Glasgow. We are thrilled to be part of the team committed to bringing this iconic building into the 21st Century.”
The £32 million project is to be completed in 2008, and will provide 130,000 ft sq of office space.
