£12.5 million revamp for Scottish National Portrait Gallery

The Scottish Executive has announced plans for a £12.5 million redevelopment of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.
National Galleries of Scotland is currently looking for an architect for the project to 're-invent' the Sir Robert Rowand Anderson-designed A-listed building.
Work is to begin this November, with completion scheduled for June 2012.
