Gareth Hoskins Architects have been honoured at the first RIBA National Awards for their design of The Bridge Arts Centre in Easterhouse, the only Scottish project to receive an award.
The building includes theatre, dance, recording and visual arts spaces and studios as well as providing a base for the National Theatre for Scotland, and is also linked with a wider complex of leisure and further education facilities.
The multi award-winning practice received the prize at a ceremony at the Hilton in London last month, following on from the project's recent successes at the Regional RIBA Awards and the Scottish Design Awards, which saw the practice scoop the Grand Prix.
