Urban Splash, the highly successful the Manchester based developer, is currently pitching for two projects in Scotland. Although the developer says it’s premature to talk about an urban splash launch into Scotland, the fact that they are bidding for sites in Irvine Bay and Glasgow suggests that their expansion is imminent. In Glasgow they are participating in a competition to the Bellgrove at the East End of the city with Gareth Hoskins as the designer and in Irvine they are developing proposals for a large brownfield waterfront site with Reiach and Hall.If you have any views on this or any other issue raised on the Prospect website, join the debate in the Forum.
