Design heavyweights to collaborate on Trinity Gardens development
Richard Murphy and CDA are to collaborate with design agency Conran & Partners and European real estate firm Meyer Bergman on a major new residential development in the Trinity area of Edinburgh.

The Trinity Gardens development will include 246 apartments close to Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens, with an emphasis on integrating the apartments into a garden ‘sanctuary’ within an existing, listed stone boundary wall.

Richard Murphy commented: “The Trinity Gardens development represents a wonderful opportunity to live in a mature garden close to the centre of Edinburgh. The u-shaped, essentially perimeter, plan allows most of the apartments direct views onto a large, private communal garden with many upper flats almost being tree houses in the branches of the many mature trees on the site. Clustering of the apartments around the lift and stair cores has resulted in a great variety of sizes, most of which have substantial corner windows to living spaces looking out onto the landscapes.”
