RMJM and Gazprom meet with UNESCO

The height of the Okhta Tower, which will be the tallest in Europe, has prompted fears from heritage groups leading UNESCO's intervention. RMJM say that the tower, which will be built 5 km from the historical centre of the city, will not be seen from Palace Square or St.Isaac's Square.
The Gazprom development will include public green spaces, a public library, a concert hall, a museum, an ice rink and a public viewing gallery at the top of the tower.
