NORD and Gareth Hoskins pick up UK prizes

Scottish practices NORD and Gareth Hoskins Architects both picked up titles in the BD Architect of the Year event in London last week. NORD was the winner of the highly prestigious BD’s Young Architect of the Year competition.

The practice beat off stiff competition from Urban Salon, Mangera Yvars, Featherstone Associates and IJP Corporation for the award for £5000. The judges commended NORD for its “raw energy and passionate commitment”.

At the same event Gareth Hoskins was named Health Architect of the Year and John McAslan was announced as the Feilden Architect of the Year.
