New arts space to open in East Lothian
A new arts space, named The Gallery at Eskmills, is to open in East Lothian this Summer with a launch exhibition curated by Polarcap.

The building was formerly a Victorian mill and is currently a centre for business, food and the environment, but looking to add the arts to its portfolio. The Gallery owners hope the space will become a natural home for the visual and performing arts in addition to the existing circuit of Edinburgh cultural venues.

Malcolm Gillies, owner of Eskmills, said: “I believe that business and the arts can co-exist and bringing them together here at Eskmills where one will help and benefit the other will allow both to flourish.”
