Tall buildings policy

Edinburgh Tall buildings policy should be published shortly. At the recent World Heritage Site Trust event Inspiring Cities, Hal Moggridge of Colvin and Moggridge, described the methodology behind his research. Moggridge argues that views in and out of a city are a crucial element of identity and place-making. His team has identified the key views of Edinburgh and developed a contour map indicating the heights that it is possible to build at without compromising the critical views.
