Six Cities festival
7 Apr 2006
Jane Ripley, the director of the Scottish Executive’s Six Cities project, has been sacked after just a few months in the job. The director was responsible for co-ordinating the activities of individual cities for the festival that is due to take place in spring 2007. The Scottish Executive does not plan to replace Ripley immediately; Stuart MacDonald, the director of the Lighthouse, will oversee the work of the existing staff. If you have any views on this or any other issue raised on the Prospect website, join the debate in the Forum.
