Adrian is doing all right
Adrian Stewart has left Chris Stewart Architects to set up his own practice, DO-Architecture Ltd, and has already won two commissions. One is an Arts Council-funded open competition to restore and transform a Victorian footbridge at Hove station. The other is an invited competition for an urban farm around the former Fairfield Farmhouse in Linthouse, Govan for the LUV project and Linthouse Housing Association. Stewart says he left the comfort of a medium-sized practice to set up on his own because he believes that small practices have more design-driven priorities.
