Competitive edge
7 Apr 2006
Robin Webster was the project architect on the Munkenbeck and Marshall’s elegant visitor centre on Bute and Miranda has worked in a number of high-profile practices including MacCormac’s. The practice, which is based in Walmer Crescent, the ‘Greek’ Thomson Crescent just off Paisley Road West, is currently working on a number of projects outside of Scotland, but construction work begins shortly on a new house inserted into a cliff face on the west coast of Scotland and the conservation of a private house in Glasgow for artist Jim Lambie.
They have just been shortlisted in their first Scottish competition, an open competition to design a new public square for Pollokshields. Cameronwebster are proposing a new botanical garden.
