Vineburgh Masterplan
Austin-Smith:Lord has been appointed by North Ayrshire
Council in commissioning a regeneration masterplan for
the Vineburgh area in Irvine. Its purpose is to guide the
redevelopment of an outmoded area of housing.
Following extensive Community Consultation a masterplan
for the renewal of an area 306 housing units scheduled for
demolition has been developed. The masterplan considers
the economic, social benefits of social generation alongside
the development of phased implementation of the delivery of
sustainable urban regeneration in a high priority area.
